Family Nurse Practitioner

She/Her/Hers

Sharon is the most recent addition to this amazing practice. She spent a double clinical rotation at AHI during her Family Nurse Practitioner program and was so excited and impressed about AHI’s mission and level of care that she sweet-talked her way into working here and couldn’t be happier. Prior to working at AHI Sharon was an oncology nurse with 20 years of experience; a specialty that taught her how precious life and health is. She firmly believes that identity, sexuality and self-expression are unique to the individual and that everyone deserves comprehensive, informative and sensitive care to help maintain and achieve the best health outcomes possible.

Prior to coming to Anchor Health Initiative, she worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering, The Stamford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital in various medical and radiation oncology roles. She is a graduate of Sacred Heart University with a Master’s degree of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, where she maintained honors, won an award for clinical excellence and most informative capstone (thesis) project and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Alpha Sigma Lambda. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nursing Society and holds certifications in both medical and radiation oncology.
