Head of Communications & Events
Michael DeWolfe is a queer organizer from Hamden, CT. His experience began on-the-ground at Triangle Community Center’s (TCC) Pride in the Park in June of 2017, which led to a full-time position leading the volunteers who made Pride happen. At TCC, Michael found his place in the community and a passion to fight for the underserved parts of it.
A detail-oriented fire sign with a knack for quick problem solving, Michael was handpicked to coordinate PRIDE New Haven’s festival in 2019. His role included recruiting, training, and leading volunteers to run an all-day festival.
In 2019, Michael joined our team as a Patient Care Associate. By the end of 2020, his role had grown to coordinating our communications and events. He works closely with Dr. AJ Eckert on creating and editing content for our YouTube series, Queering Health with Dr. E.
Michael’s areas of expertise are communications, volunteer engagement, outreach, and special projects. He is a Real Housewives fan who loves to write short stories, watch TikTok videos, and go out in downtown New Haven with friends.
