Jean is the President of Jean Doyen de Montaillou LLC, a consulting and interior design
firm. Jean provides consulting services to a number of not-for-profit organizations
including the Avon Theatre in Stamford CT, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps, The
Artist Association of Nantucket. He is also a grand patron of the English Speaking Union
of Greenwich and a patron member of the New England Society in the City of New
York. Most recently he has become involved with French Heritage Paris/New York, a
not-for-profit organization that restore old castles, gardens and church between the US
and France.


Born in France, Jean emigrated to the U.S. in 1989. He has traveled extensively in India
and Africa where he ran textile businesses. In addition to his support for charities in the
U.S., he was also the chair of an organization that ran an HIV/AIDS clinic in Victoria
Falls, Zimbabwe. Jean has a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Design from Ecole
Superieure des Beaux-Arts.
