Chris Adams, RN
As our Practice Manager, Chris Adams, RN, keeps both of our clinics up-and-running. He is responsible for managing office staff, maintaining providers’ schedules, and overseeing clinic operations. Chris was handpicked by Anchor Health’s co-founder, Dr. A.C. Demidont, to be our first ever nurse as he had been her patient for years.
Before Chris came to Anchor Health, he worked with adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders, which showed him how vital it is to bring empathy and compassion in-and-out of his work. Chris earned nursing degrees from Gateway Community College in New Haven, CT, and Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire. He has been a registered nurse for over three years. He has seen urology, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery patients, among others.
Chris jumped at the opportunity to serve his community by joining our team. He is passionate about civil rights and protections for LGBTQ people in healthcare, the Black Lives Matter movement, reforming healthcare and insurance, and more.
On the weekdays, you can find Chris hiking, biking, and playing video games in New Haven. On the weekends, he’s in New York City spending time with friends and trying new Thai and Asian restaurants. Either way, he’s stanning Lady Gaga, Blackpink, and Dua Lipa!
