We are currently seeing patients via Telehealth and scheduled appointments. We are not accepting walk-ins:

An important message from Anchor Health Initiative (AHI) regarding COVID-19:

As LGBTQ and immunocompromised patients are particularly at risk, we are making the necessary day-to-day changes at this time, including mandatory travel screenings for all scheduled patients, increased cleaning and sanitization in the office, and allowing non-essential staff to work from home. We are monitoring the latest guidance from Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) for best practices to prioritize the health and safety of our patients during COVID-19 (coronavirus). Updates are available to the public at the following links:

As a reminder, it’s still cold and flu season. We advise you to:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Wash your hands after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or having been in a public space
  • Cover your mouth for coughing and sneezing
  • Don’t get too close to others, try for a distance of 6-feet when possible
  • Stay home if you are sick

If you are a patient of ours and are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or the cold/flu (fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath, chills, etc.), it is required for you to call the office at 203-903-8308 and inform us prior to scheduling an appointment or coming in for a scheduled appointment. As always, if you are experiencing an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

If you are an older adult (ages 60+) and/or have a serious chronic medical condition (e.g. heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease), you may be at higher risk of acquiring COVID-19. Please call the office to inquire about necessary precautions, which may include obtaining extra necessary medications to have on hand in case there is an outbreak in your area. If you cannot get medications or do not drive, ask us about switching to Anchor Health Pharmacy to have your medications delivered to your door.

We will continue to keep you informed during this situation if we take additional action. If you feel that you need support, please reach out to us so we can connect you with groups that allow you to call-in so you can virtually attend.
